and all his work is done in faithfulness.

From the blessing of family to the institution of marriage, from the gift of friendship to the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ, the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

From the kindness shown to a stranger in a church assembly to the enduring patience of a tired spouse, from help for the helpless that can never be repaid to warm hospitality around the kitchen table, the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

From life’s first cry to final breath, the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

His word is upright. All his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice. So let’s give thanks to him today. Let’s be glad in him and trust in his holy name. He is our help and our shield.

Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. (33:22)
